Have you ever felt like you want to extend that “Christmas” feeling. Answering this question led me to seeking out the best way to extend the life of our poinsettia plants. I know, simple solution, right?
As I was reflecting on the scripture that says “Do not say “Why were the old days better than these?” “For it is not wise to ask such questions.” (Ecclesiastes 7:10) and then reading and listening to the rest of Ecclesiastes with my youngest who was longing for the former days of Northwest snow, I started thinking about the things in front of me. This thought of at least trying to preserve and potentially revive this plant was enough of an inviting task, in the present, to help me to put this scripture into practice while still being able to enjoy the essence of the holidays.
