Supercharging Homeschooling: Preparing for a Promising Busy Season

As I sit sipping my espresso, ready to be launched into high gear, I think about all the things that are ahead this season. No, not the allergies, no not the lingering summer days (which are really a thing of the past), but more about the ways that adaptation will be possible and keeping up with the promising busy schedule that is no doubt in store.

There’s is no slowing down. We’re preparing for another homeschool year and it’s full speed ahead. Yes, homeschooling is an everyday commitment and there really is no “summer break” when it comes to being present and attempting to take advantage of every learning opportunity, but if we are honest, now really is the time to supercharge.

Although this year, I’m kinda amped about the turbo part. For sure, there are days when… well, let’s just say there are days. But other days, those when I feel that things are on ‘fleek,’ I can’t wait to get started and enjoy watching my kids learn as they grow and develop.

In fact, as we’ve been organizing, my kids have even helped out. They are moving things around, building shelves, breaking down boxes and even labeling things. It’s exciting to see them get involved in their own education as they get older.

What are you plans for the pending school year? Have you considered homeschooling or maybe just thinking about it? With all the changes going on in the world, it does help to feel a little more equipped for all the things we know are coming.
