It’s getting extremely difficult to get things started … let alone to get them completed. It is exhausting to keep spinning our wheels to have nothing accomplished at the end of the day. However, it’s not so much about getting the thing done than it is about beginning it in the first place. As humans, we like to put things off. When we get so wrapped up in things that are irrelevant and choose to make these things our focal point instead of simply checking off the task list, we make for a challenging “garden,” or rather lackluster fruit production. We want fruit! The reality is we need to get started. In a world that promotes, produces, and pillages our lazy states of being and subdues us into mental oblivion at every possible turn with things such as movies, politics, drama, and other media, the antidote to this arrested development and thinking that we have to get things finished in order to start, is simply in getting things started.
With this in mind, I’ve started a challenge called “30 Minute Wrap Up!” Do a solid check in daily if you’re putting your hand to the plow (aka “task list”) daily, for just thirty minutes. Learn more about joining here. Share your success and let’s keep going. Joing through the online group connections software, Band.
